Start with the Basics
As part of any remodeling project, you’ll need to think through the reasons you are considering a remodel in the first place. Is it more interior space, a new kitchen, new bathroom? If you think about specific needs, you can keep the project from growing too big for your budget.
Now that you have a list of items, do some research to see how others have accomplished similar goals. The internet, friends and magazines are great resources for ideas and you can learn what works and what didn’t.
If you have the ability, you can draw up a simple plan using accurate measurements from your home. Moffitt will review it with you and advise on whether we can work with your plan or if an architect is needed to help refine it. There are many aspects to a remodel that go beyond the floor plan too and Moffitt is ready to discuss demolition, electrical, plumbing, permits and any other needs with you or your chosen designer.
While we Work
There is bound to be some disruption to the household while we work, including demolition and workers who need access to the space. Moffitt Builders works to minimize this disruption whenever possible though while still working to meet the project deadline.
